What We Do

• Encourage contributors to write tests
• Many skill levels: JS and HTML are the only common ground
• Tinderbox!
• regression tests
• Dependencies are bad, so... httpd.js
• We accept donations: test suites from Prototype.js, JQuery, MochiKit, YOUR TESTS HERE.

Tools We Like

We wrote some of them, maybe you will like them too.

• Web pages with lots of privileges: user.js.
  netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege
  Example: Log to a file.
• DeHydra. Scriptable static analysis tool based on Oink/Elsa. Can cope with the preprocessor, so automated patch generation is possible. more.
• Fuzzing JavaScript: Jesse's Fuzzer
• For Java and C: CUTE/JCUTE
• Chronomancer: Time Traveling Debugger.
• Rational Purify csv output to JSON/HTML: coverage reports
• DTrace on Solaris now, Mac OS X 10.5 soon. Instrumented SpiderMonkey, Layout/DOM code.
